The importance of vegetables

A variety of vegetables is necessary to get all the fiber, vitamins and nutrients to keep your trillions of cells happy and healthy. Try for as many as you can every week or two. Aim for as many colors as you can get.

Vegetables are usually light on protein. If you are eating a lot of vegetables and salads and are concerned about protein, you can boost protein by mixing with these:

Pea protein extract 5g per tbsp

Nutritional yeast flakes with 5g per tbsp.

Hemp hearts with 3.5g per tbsp
